Hey! I’m Alyson,Â
Your maternity leave guide and business doula.
When I was becoming a mom, my business was three years old. It relied heavily on me to run and I did’t have the resources to hire a massive team to send me out on maternity leave.Â
It caused me and my family so much undue stress. I didn’t have the right plan, the resources available to self-employed women were total crap or non-existent.Â
So, when I planned another leave just 17 months later, I did things a little differently. I was able to grow my business through both of my maternity leaves and redefine what my business looked like after both my babies.Â
Now, I run two growing companies and take every Friday off to be with my babies.
